This was a small friendly competition in which
the challenge was to reach designated markers set by Ali and get your card
punched. Points were awarded for each punch. Pete was co-driving me, whilst
Amanda and Stacey were in charge of camera + camcorder. Anne went with John.
Scoring system - vehicles

Wheelbase of less than 95” -250 points
Winch equipped -250 points
Locker(s) or traction control -250 points
Tyres bigger than 235/85x16 -250 points
Scoring system - punches
=========================
There will be twenty punches, all of the same
value.
They will be positioned such that the aforementioned Range Rover should
manage 10, and it will take a more capable vehicle to manage all 20.
With the vehicle handicaps, everyone should finish
on 1,000 points or
better.
Bearing the above in mind... John starts on -750 due to wheelbase, tyres and lockers. I start on -250 due to my lockers. In the end John scored 1250 and I accumilated 1750. I won out of the 25 cars that entered. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Thanks to SLRC for a great day!
